SAN DIEGO - Tropical weather continues in our region as another wave of energy spins off of Tropical Storm Paine.

There was peak shower activity early Tuesday morning and we got another round of light showers Tuesday evening, according to 10News Meteorologist Megan Parry.

The wet roads may impact your evening commute -- check our traffic map before you head home.
On Wednesday, we transition out of the tropical pattern, and by Thursday and Friday we'll dry out with cooler temperatures and gusty winds, especially in the mountains and deserts.

The weekend outlook is warm - a moderate Santa Ana wind event will develop, bringing hot and dry weather with gusty winds, especially in the foothills and mountains. FULL FORECAST | INTERACTIVE RADAR
