Persistent inflation, high gas prices, and ongoing challenges created by the pandemic have formed a perfect storm for families in San Diego County who are now relying on Feeding San Diego food distributions. Thousands of people are waiting in line for food every week. You can help.

To continue to raise awareness and funds for Feeding San Diego, the local hunger-relief and food rescue non-profit that provides food assistance throughout San Diego County, ABC 10News is hosting its annual Month of a Million Meals holiday campaign.

As Feeding San Diego continues its vital work to provide food assistance for more people than ever, your tax-deductible donation to Feeding San Diego can have a direct impact. Your contribution will make a difference in the life of a child, family, senior, college student, military family or veteran who may be faced with impossible choices, forced to choose between putting food on the table or paying for another necessity, like medicine or housing.

Help us reach our goal of a million meals by making a financial gift during the Month of a Million Meals.

Feeding San Diego is a non-profit organization on a mission to end hunger through food rescue.

Established in 2007, Feeding San Diego is the leading hunger-relief and food rescue organization in San Diego County and the only Feeding America affiliate in the region. Our organization provides more than 40.3 million meals every year to children, families, seniors, college students, military families, and veterans in partnership with a network of 292 local charities, schools, faith communities, meal sites, and food pantries.

Nearly 70 percent of the food provided to the community is rescued from local and national food donors. By diverting nearly 28 million pounds of high-quality food from the landfill, Feeding San Diego protects people and the planet.
