Feeding San Diego is working to end hunger in San Diego County, and they need our help. ABC 10News is hosting the 12th annual Month of a Million Meals holiday campaign to support the nearly 300,000 people who are experiencing food insecurity in San Diego County, including almost 80,000 children. Your generous gifts can help support families in bringing meals home.

Nutritious food is essential to everyone. Families are working hard to bring meals home this holiday season. However, with persistent inflation and fact that San Diego is one of the nation’s most expensive cities to live, many find their paychecks falling short of covering basic living expenses.

Help us reach our goal of a million meals by making a financial gift during the Month of a Million Meals. Every dollar donated helps provide 2 nutritious meals.

As Feeding San Diego continues its vital work to help families access food, nourishment, and hope, your generous tax-deductible donation to Feeding San Diego can have a direct impact on seniors, kids, families and military families and veterans experiencing food insecurity.

ABOUT FEEDING SAN DIEGO

Feeding San Diego is a non-profit organization on a mission to end hunger through food rescue.

Established in 2007, Feeding San Diego is the leading hunger-relief and food rescue organization in San Diego County and the only Feeding America affiliate in the region. Our organization provides more than 40.3 million meals every year to children, families, seniors, college students, military families, and veterans in partnership with a network of 292 local charities, schools, faith communities, meal sites, and food pantries.

Nearly 70 percent of the food provided to the community is rescued from local and national food donors. By diverting nearly 28 million pounds of high-quality food from the landfill, Feeding San Diego protects people and the planet.
