SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Police shut down a marijuana delivery service operating near San Diego State University's campus this week.
San Diego Police served a search warrant in the 6200 block of Pembroke Drive Thursday at about 12 p.m. for a marijuana delivery service called "Pretty Dank." According to police, the service had been operating illegally in the College Heights area.
Police said about 10 pounds of "high grade" marijuana, 450 edibles and concentrated cannabis, $30,000 in cash, and business documents and records were seized during the search.
Four employees, including Pretty Dank's owner and delivery drivers, were also arrested and issued citations for operating the business without a license and selling marijuana.
Police warned the city would continue to close illegal businesses and prosecute those responsible for them.
"As was evident by yesterday’s operation, SDPD and the City Attorney’s office are continuing to conduct enforcement and prosecution on all illegal marijuana delivery services, as well as, all other illegal marijuana businesses operating in the City of San Diego," SDPD said in a release.
