SACRAMENTO, Calif. (KGTV) -- A proposal to split California into three states will be on the November statewide ballot, according to KABC.
Backers of the proposal, called CAL 3, said last month that they delivered 600,000 signatures to the office of the California Secretary of State.
The proposal only needed 365,000 to qualify for the November ballot. The proposal, which calls for the state to be divided into three separate states, is backed by Tim Draper.
