SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Police are searching for a suspect after a man was shot during a road rage incident in Del Cerro early Sunday morning.
According to police, the shooting happened on the 5200 block of Adobe Falls Road at 1 a.m. Sunday.
Police say the 57-year-old victim was crossing the street to meet a friend when he was nearly struck by a white, four-door sedan.

The victim “exchanged words” with the driver of the vehicle before the man got out of the car and the two fought.
The victim was knocked unconscious before a passerby took him to the hospital. Once at the hospital, the man realized he’d been shot in the arm.
Police say his injuries are non-life threatening.
