MURRIETA, Calif. (KGTV) - North of where the Lilac Fire erupted in the Bonsall area of San Diego, the Liberty Fire broke out in Murrieta.

Riverside County fire crews were battling the blaze which originated at Los Alamos Road and Liberty Rd. just after 1 p.m.

Here's what we know: (UPDATES AS OF Dec. 8 at 7 a.m. PST)

CITY OF MURRIETA UPDATES

Acres & containment: Holding at 300 acres burned; 60% contained

Injuries: Unknown

Damages: One structure & 6 outbuildings destroyed

Evacuation orders:

  • All orders lifted except Los Alamos between Ruth Ellen & Briggs Road, Maclean & Golden Eagle

Evacuation centers:

  • All centers closed
