SPALDING COUNTY, Ga. (KGTV) - A Georgia student didn't think he would walk in his high school's graduation this Saturday - until his teacher stopped by.

Griffin High School special education teacher Kimberly Wimbish posted a video last week of her delivery to 19-year-old Jamias Howard.

A semester before graduation and with only a handful of credits needed, Howard was unable to continue attending classes, according to WSB-TV in Atlanta. Wimbish volunteered her time any chance she had to help Howard fulfill his graduation requirements.

“I want so much for these babies,” Wimbish told WSB-TV. “They have to have a fighting chance.”

Wimbish dropped off Howard's cap and gown, sending the Georgia teen into hysterics.

“I love you so much," Howard said upon receiving his graduation attire. As Wimbish reminds him what time rehearsal is, Howard is moved to tears.

The teen will graduate with his classmates this Saturday.
