SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Police said a woman found dead behind a Pacific Beach business Sunday was likely run over by a vehicle.
According to San Diego police, someone reported seeing a woman’s body in an alley in the 1600 block of Garnet Avenue, near Trader Joe’s, at around 1:20 p.m.
Paramedics tried life-saving measures, but the 52-year-old woman was declared dead at the scene.

Police said the woman had injuries “consistent with being run over by a vehicle.” She apparently fell asleep under a semi-truck and may have been run over, police believe.
The incident is under investigation.
