(KGTV) - A statewide Amber Alert was issued Friday after a suspect abducted a one-year-old boy in San Francisco.
California Highway Patrol said Makai Bangoura, 1, was abducted in San Francisco. Bangoura is described as a black male with brown hair and brown eyes, standing two feet, six inches tall, and weighing 40 pounds.
CHP said the suspect, 30-year-old Jason Lam, should not be approached without law enforcement.
Lam is described as an Asian male with black hair and brown eyes, standing five feet, three inches tall, and weighing 145 pounds.
Lam was last seen driving a tan, 2000 Toyota Corolla with the license plate 5SEY238. Authorities believe the two may be heading toward southern California.
