SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Three people required hospital treatment after a spectacular chain-reaction accident in Valencia Park late Tuesday morning.
Witnesses said a Chevy Tahoe ran a red light and struck a pickup truck entering the intersection shortly before 11 a.m., sending the truck spinning into a Metropolitan Transit System bus and launching the Tahoe into the air and into a parking lot.
It slammed into two parked cars, which were then pushed into several others.
Cynthia Green was getting off another bus when, "I heard a big old bang; looked over and I seen the white Tahoe flying over the sidewalk, hit all the cars in the parking lot."
San Diego Police did not immediately issue any citations.
Each victim is expected to recover from his injuries.
