SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Whether or not your neighborhood is great for trick-or-treating, San Diego has plenty of options outside the block to score some free candy this Halloween.
Many local theme parks are offering free trick-or-treating events, like Legoland, SeaWorld, and Belmont Park! Not only can you get some candy, but you can enjoy some awesome seasonal fun!
A few annual local trick-or-treating events are returning as well, such as HauntFest on Main in El Cajon, Trick-or-Treat on India Street, and Pillage the Village in La Jolla.

Wherever you're at, there are Halloween sweets to score! Here are some fun trick-or-treating events to take the kids out to this year:
Where: Belmont Park; When: Oct. - Nov., 5 p.m. - close
Belmont Park is bringing back its fall festival with thrills and chills throughout the amusement park. Free trick-or-treating will be held Friday through Sunday, in addition to costume contests, entertainment, pumpkin painting, and much more.
SeaWorld Halloween Spooktacular
Where: SeaWorld San Diego; When: 9/22 - 10/28
Jump into the Halloween festivities with an interactive dance floor, Halloween-themed animal shows, trick-or-treating and much more at SeaWorld's "spooktacular" family-friendly celebration.
Where: Legoland California; When: 9/29 - 10/27
What could be better than trick-or-treating with more than 1 million pieces of candy up for grabs? Check out live entertainment with Lego characters, a costume contest, a fall festival and pumpkin patch, and more Halloween fun at Legoland this season!
Where: Downtown El Cajon; When: 10/19
Bring the family out to HauntFest on Main for an array of fun activities and attractions. Costume contests, rides and games, a kids zone, live performances, and much more will crowd Main St. for this annual Halloween party.
Trick-Or-Treat on India Street
Where: Piazza della Famiglia, Little Italy; When: 10/26
Little Italy's annual trick-or-treating party is back! Take your little ghouls out for some fun on India St. where businesses will be handing out candy and treats in Little Italy's newly opened plaza.
Helen Woodward Howl-O-Ween Harvest Family Day
Where: Helen Woodward Animal Shelter; When: 10/27 - 10/28
Register for a day of harvest season fun with face painting, crafts, a pumpkin patch, and trick-or-treating! The event also promises more fun with a scavenger hunt, a cake walk, and animal encounters.

Where: Balboa Park; When: 10/27
A free day of Halloween fun and treats awaits at Balboa Park this season! Come out in costume for goodies, crafts and games, a pumpkin drop, and doggies costume contest.
Pillage the Village in La Jolla
