SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Christmas fun heads to Balboa Park before December even hits this year.
The 4th Annual Children's Coalition Christmas on the Prado kicks off the holiday season with Christmas fun in Balboa Park on Nov. 25 from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The Spreckels Organ Pavilion and International Cottages in Balboa Park will host Christmas music and entertainment, crafts, an elf contest, a Christmas tree lighting, photos with Santa, and more as San Diego ushers in Christmas time.
The event also collects needed funds and donated toys for San Diego's Toys for Tots charity push.
Families are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots - as well as their Christmas spirit.

Children's Coalition Christmas on the Prado is not affiliated with Balboa Park's December Nights, which was formerly named "Christmas on the Prado" until 2001.
