SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - The holidays are creeping into San Diego County this weekend.
El Cajon's annual Mother Goose parade will headline the weekend, marking a Thanksgiving tradition San Diegans have participated in for years.
The weekend will also see a couple of holiday events get underway, including the Global Winter Wonderland set up at SDCCU Stadium and Encinitas Holiday Fair.
Here's a look at what's happening this weekend:
18th annual San Diego Asian Film Festival at San Diego Natural History Museum - Thursday - Saturday
Film buffs will experience more than 150 films from 20 countries in 30 languages spanning action, romance, comedy, drama, animation, documentaries, and family-friendly films. Q&As with filmmakers, opportunities to meet cast and crew and podcast panels will also be hosted.
San Diego Bay Wine + Food Festival at various locations - Thursday - Sunday
Come enjoy and celebrate our region's fine foods and drinks at the San Diego Bay Wine + Food Festival. More than 150 wineries, breweries and spirit purveyors, and 60 of San Diego's finest restaurants will host thousands of foodies from around the nation with delicious tastings and seminars.
Susan G. Komen 3-day Race for the Cure at Del Mar Fairgrounds - Friday - Sunday
Lace up your shoes (or come down and cheer on participants) and join in Susan G. Komen's three-day, 60-mile walk to raise funds to for breast cancer research and treatment.

Global Winter Wonderland at SDCCU Stadium - Sunday
The multicultural theme park opens in Mission Valley, featuring a circus of lights, a carnival, holiday-themed displays of locations around the world, an international food court, holiday shopping, and Santa (along with his trusty penguin, Penny.)
Mother Goose Parade in El Cajon - Sunday
El Cajon's Mother Goose parade is billed as the largest parade in San Diego County. Held every Sunday before Thanksgiving, thousands will line the streets to watch Santa, marching bands, and more as the parade begins on Main St. at El Cajon Blvd. marching toward First St.
