Torrey Pines, Calif. (KGTV) - Lifeguards and other emergency responders were sent out earlier this morning to the bluffs above Black's Beach near the Torrey Pines Glider Port for a cliff rescue.
The un-identified 21 years-old woman was with two friends exploring the cliffs by the glider port when she fell around 4 a.m. Monday.
Initially, her friends attempted to help her but couldn't reach her so they called 911.
San Diego Fire-Rescue used the light from their helicopter to locate her and lowered a basket with a paramedic to the hiker, hoisting her to safety.
The extent of any injuries or circumstances around the fall down the cliffs are not immediately known, but the woman is going to be ok.
