DEL CERRO, CALIF. (KGTV) - Authorities say they are still working to identify the body found after a house fire in Del Cerro on Tuesday.

It happened at the 5900 block of Bernadette Lane just north of the I-8 freeway.

Fire investigators announced they are leaning toward arson as the cause and the coroner said this is being investigated a suicide.

The homeowner has not come forward or been located.

Mark Himmel, a local jeweler, is listed as the owner, but the house was being foreclosed according to records.

Himmel was the subject of a Team10 investigation last year where clients claimed they gave him thousands of dollars of jewelry along with a fixing fee, but Himmel never finished the job or gave them their jewelry back.
