SPRING VALLEY (KGTV) - A man was rushed to the hospital Sunday night after he was struck by a ride-sharing vehicle on a Spring Valley street.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened just after 10 p.m. near Sweetwater Road and Troy Street.
Authorities said the unidentified man apparently ran into the street and was then hit by a ride-sharing vehicle.
The driver remained at the scene to answer questions, and authorities are looking into if the man ran in front of the vehicle intentionally.
The pedestrian was taken to Scripps Mercy Hospital with critical injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
