CHULA VISTA, Calif. (KGTV) — Chula Vista Police showed off a new drone on Tuesday called the Skydio 2.

The drone is designed to be easy to pilot, using cameras and sensors on all sides to detect objects before crashing into them.

It also has the ability to track a person on auto-pilot.

CVPD is the first law enforcement agency in the world to obtain the new drone.

It joins their fleet of several other drones that have already been used in 1144 incidents and have led to 158 arrests.
