SPRING VALLEY, Calif. (KGTV) - SWAT officers swarmed an East County home Wednesday, looking for a man connected to last weekend's shooting in the Gaslamp.

San Diego Police officers were serving a search warrant on a home in the 1600 block of Tarleton St., near Jamacha Road and State Route 125 at about 3 p.m.
The standoff was over around 7:15 p.m. after police entered the house and found no one inside. They confirmed to 10News that the search was for Ray Pitoau. They say the 37-year-old is wanted for shooting off-duty Sheriff's Deputy Jason Philpot early Monday morning.

Again, Ray Pitoau was not found inside the home. Police continue to look for him and consider him armed and dangerous.
SUSPECT INFORMATION:
- Date of birth: January 4, 1980
- Samoan male
- 5’11”, 225 pounds
- Black hair and brown eyes
- Has a distinguished “SD” tattoo on the upper right chest.
