SAN DIEGO -- A 4-year-old girl who was reportedly taken by her mother's boyfriend is safe and will be reunited with her mother.
San Diego police officials say a man drove away with his girlfriend's daughter shortly after 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in an area near 30th Street and Newton Avenue in Logan Heights.
Police say the man drove off in a white truck believed to be a Nissan Titan.
At about 6:30 p.m., police confirmed that the man dropped the child off at a relative's house and left the scene.
Police have not tracked down the man as of 6:40 p.m., 10News learned.
