Discovery of body in Eastlake area a 'false alarm,' Chula Vista police say

CHULA VISTA, Calif. (KGTV) - Police say a report they received of a child's body found in an Eastlake neighborhood Thursday morning was a "false alarm" and no person was found deceased.

According to Chula Vista police, a passerby claimed to have seen a body near Hopscotch Drive and Porch Swing Street just after 6:30 a.m.

However, responding officers did not find any body at the scene.
