SPRING VALLEY, Calif. (KGTV) - An iron worker who was struck by a falling beam at a Spring Valley business died of his injuries Wednesday, Cal/OSHA reported.
Emergency crews were called to West Coast Iron at 9302 Jamacha Rd. after a report of a fallen beam shortly before 10:30 a.m.
An unidentified man was struck when iron beams fell off a truck at the construction site, according to Cal/OSHA.
The size and type of beam was not immediately released.
Cal/OSHA is investigating the incident.
