NOVEMBER 26
 
Santa will make an early appearance in Seaport Village. Saint Nick will be dressed in board shorts and flip-flops and soaking up the sun while making a splash. The Surfin' Santa Festival brings crowds of people each year.  
 
Now that Black Friday is behind us, it's time to gear up for Small Business Saturday. It's a day for shoppers to support independent, local shops. Participating stores will stay open later and offer special deals for customers.
 
Foodies will definitely want to swing by the Del Mar Fairgrounds for the Craft Beer, Cider and Food Truck Festival. Sample from more than 30 trucks and more than 100 craft beers and ciders. It starts at 11:00am.
 
NOVEMBER 27
 
You can now ice skate on the beach! Skating by the Sea returns to the Hotel del Coronado. A portion of the proceeds benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The ice rink is open through January 2.
 
Sunday is your last chance to check out the 37th San Diego Jazz Fest! There's a variety of jazz music - from ragtime to swing to rockabilly. It's at the Town & Country Resort and Hotel in Mission Valley. Tickets are $30.
 
Fans of the movie Avatar-- Cirque du Soleil is opening a new show inspired by the movie. It's called "Toruk- The First Flight". There are two shows Sunday at the Valley View Casino Center. Tickets start at about $30.
