Man rescued from burning Spring Valley home

SPRING VALLEY, Calif. (KGTV) - A man was rescued from a home burning at a Spring Valley mobile home park Thursday night.

According to sheriff’s officials, the fire was reported shortly before 10 p.m. at the Lamplighter Village mobile home park at 10767Jamacha Boulevard.

Responding firefighters and deputies were told by neighbors and other witnesses that a man was inside a burning home and required assistance.

The resident was pulled to safety, and firefighters were able to knock down the fire before it spread to other homes.

The rescued man, who suffered minor injuries, was detained by deputies for questioning as the sheriff’s Bomb/Arson Unit believes there is a possibility the blaze was intentionally set.
