OCEANSIDE, Calif. (KGTV) - Police announced the arrest of two people in connection with the shooting death of a man near the Oceanside Pier last week.
On June 1, 21-year-old Ines Villa was shot and killed near the Junior Seau Amphitheatre, near the 200 block of N. The Strand. The circumstances that led to the shooting were not immediately disclosed by police.
Following an investigation, police identified two suspects in the shooting -- 21-year-old Bianca Madrigal and 18-year-old Jose Rodriguez.

Madrigal was arrested on June 2, while Rodriguez was taken into custody the following day.
Both were charged with first-degree murder and participation in a gang felony, according to police.
The investigation into Villa's death is ongoing, police said.
