Two men injured in South Bay carjacking

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Two men were injured in a carjacking in the South Bay Saturday night, according to San Diego Police.

The 21-year-old owner of a black Lexus was pistol-whipped while trying to sell his car to the suspect, and the owner's friend was stabbed, police said. This happened in the 1500 block of 15th Street in the South Bay, south of Imperial Beach, around 8:30 p.m.

The suspect, who was joined by four other men in the fight, also fired shots, but nobody was hit, police said. Both victims are expected to recover.

The suspect drove off in the victim's car. 

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his twenties with a black gun. The other suspects fled on foot and are described as three Hispanic men and one black man.
