SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A shooting shut down streets in downtown San Diego Friday evening.
The shooting happened along 1st Avenue near Horton Plaza and the Westin.
Just before 5 p.m., police got a call from a federal agent, saying a customer had an altercation with a Ralphs' security guard.
The customer pulled a gun out of their backpack, and fired two shots at him.
The security guard shot back once.
A federal agent was nearby and called police- then chased down the shooter.
The suspect was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon.
Police said no one was injured.
