SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Police are looking for a hit-and-run driver who left a man with life-threatening injuries in the Kensington area.
On May 5, at about 7 p.m., a 56-year-old man was standing on the corner of Copeland Avenue and El Cajon Boulevard, when he began walking across the street in the crosswalk, San Diego Police said.
As the man was walking, a driver ran a red light and struck the man. The driver didn't stop and fled west from the scene, SDPD said.
The man suffered life-threatening injuries.
Police described the vehicles as a late model white Ford Explorer. A description of the driver was not available.
