SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A man in his 70s was found dead at Sunset Cliffs Thursday afternoon after being reported missing, police confirm.
According to the department, the body was discovered just after 1 p.m. near Froude Street and Sunset Cliffs Boulevard.
Images from the scene showed crews working to remove the body at the bottom of a cliff.
Police confirmed late Thursday evening that the body was that of a man in his mid-70s who was reported missing by his wife.
The death has been ruled an accident. Police have not yet released the man's name.
