SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — One person is dead after a shooting in the Mountain View area Wednesday.
San Diego Police responded to reports of a shooting just before 3 p.m. in the 3500 block of Florence Lane. Officers arrived to find a victim in an alley suffering from a gunshot wound, according to City News Service.
The victim, described only as a male, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspected shooter was described as a man who appeared in his 30s, wearing shots and a black tank top. He seen fleeing the area with another person in a silver Dodge Ram pickup or similar truck, CNS reported.
SDPD is investigating. The department advised people to avoid the area of 800 35th Street and 3400 Florence Street.
