Ground stop at San Diego International Airport causes delays

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Flights were delayed Tuesday night at San Diego International Airport due to a ground stop caused by dense fog.

According to the Federal Aviation Administration, the stop was issued at 8:48 p.m. and has since been lifted.

A dense fog advisory has also been issued for San Diego County coastal areas until 6 a.m. Wednesday.
