SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Supervisor Nathan Fletcher and Assemblywoman Lorena Gonzalez will be under a 14-day quarantine after having close contact with someone who tested positive for coronavirus, Fletcher said Thursday.

The pair said they have tested negative for the virus and that they’ve had no symptoms, but that they will follow public health guidance to quarantine for 14 days.

"We were notified today that we have had close contact with an individual who has tested positive for COVID-19. While we have both tested negative and have no symptoms, we will be following the public health guidance of a 14 day quarantine for those who have been in contact with a positive case," Fletcher said.
