EL CAJON, Calif. (KGTV) — Police are searching for the person or people responsible for fatally shooting a man on an El Cajon street last month.
Tony Montantes was standing in the area of E. Main St. and S. First St. just before 10 p.m. on March 16 before an unknown suspect fired several gunshots at him, El Cajon Police say.
Despite life-saving measures, Montantes died at the scene.
The suspects or suspects were last seen fleeing the area in a vehicle, but El Cajon Police were unable to provide a vehicle description.
