SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — According to the Coast Guard, crews interdicted a boat with 14 undocumented migrants on a vessel 18 miles west of San Diego's coastline Friday afternoon.
At 4:34 p.m., a Coast Guard crew detected a boat and launched a team to investigate. The team intercepted the boat. All 14 people on board claimed Mexican nationality.
The Coast Guard transferred the people to the Department of Homeland Security.
