KEARNY MESA: Woman stabbed Food 4 Less customer in buttocks for no reason, cops say

KEARNY MESA (KGTV) - San Diego police have arrested a woman for stabbing another woman as she was leaving the Food 4 Less grocery store in Kearny Mesa on Sunday afternoon.
 
The incident happened at around 1 p.m. outside the grocery store located in the 4900 block of Shawline Street, according to San Diego police.
 
Police said the 35-year-old female victim exited the store when she was confronted by another woman.  The suspect then stabbed the victim in the buttocks for no apparent reason, Sgt. Tom Sullivan said.
 
The assailant, described as a 33-year-old female, was still in the area when officers arrived and was arrested.
 
The victim was transported to Sharp Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, 
 
The two women have not yet been identified by police.
