LAKESIDE, Calif. (KGTV)--A 400-acre fire shut down a major interstate highway in eastern San Diego and prompted the evacuation of some Alpine residents Tuesday afternoon
The Jennings Fire, which started along Interstate 8 near Old Highway 80, is just one of several wildfires currently burning in California.
This interactive map courtesy of Cal Fire provides details about the Jennings Fire burning in San Diego County and other western wildfires including the Alamo Fire, where many San Diego firefighters were sent Sunday to battle the nearly 29,000 acre blaze.
