SAN DIEGO -- About 20 homes were evacuated Tuesday morning after a construction crew caused a gas leak in Sunset Cliffs.
Sometime before 9 a.m. a construction crew hit a two-inch gas line in the 4400 block of Adair Street. Twenty homes were evacuated.
San Diego Gas & Electric and San Diego Fire-Rescue crews responded to the scene.
The leak was fixed a little before 9:30 a.m. and people were allowed back into their homes. There were no reported injuries.
