ORIGINAL STORY — A St. Petersburg couple who visited Enchant Christmas, the world's largest Christmas maze, over the weekend said they lost their wedding ring at the event on Friday.

Jessica Garvin and her husband Tommy, like many other Tampa Bay area residents, decided to check out the maze based on Enchant’s storybook, “The Great Search,” with family.

Shortly after arriving at Tropicana Field, around 7:30 p.m., and someone commenting on Jessica's wedding ring, she realized it was missing.

"About 10 minutes had passed from when someone commented on it, to when I noticed it missing," Jessica said. "We had just arrived and were waiting for family, then we went straight up the escalator to the 3rd floor, that’s when I realized it was gone."

Jessica and her husband spent the rest of their night searching for the wedding ring.

"We’re devastated that the ring got lost. We searched until midnight hoping to find it and came back the next day to look more," Jessica said.

Jessica's wedding ring is a unique 14-karat gold band with pave diamonds and a wavy edge called torn paper.

"We live in downtown St. Pete so (we) can easily meet anyone up," Jessica said. "We are hoping to find it before our first wedding anniversary in January."
