The first baby born at Sharp Mary Birch Hospital in 2016 was Harvey Charles Gillman.
The hospital said Harvey weighed in at 7 lbs, 11 ounces.
He wasn't due until January 8, so he was quite the New Year surprise for his parents, Rebecca Gillman and Josh Gillman.
The hospital said Harvey and his parents, who reside in Chula Vista, are all doing great.
