MORENO VALLEY, Calif. (KGTV) — Firefighters made progress on a 500-acre brush fire that ripped through the Moreno Valley area of Riverside County Friday.
The Jerry Fire was 90 percent contained as of 6:45 a.m. Saturday and had charred 522 acres, according to Cal Fire.
Firefighters had stopped any threat to structures but planned to remain on scene until full containment was reached. All evacuation orders were lifted late Friday.

The blaze destroyed one outbuilding, Cal Fire said.
The cause of the fire was still under investigation Saturday.
