CHULA VISTA (CNS) - Authorities asked the public Thursday for help in finding a possibly distraught South Bay man who has been missing for 2 1/2 months.
Raymond Martino, 61, was last seen by his wife at their Chula Vista home when they went to bed about 10:30 p.m. Sept. 2. She awoke early the next morning to find him gone, according to police.
Since then, detectives said, calls to Martino's cellphone have all gone straight to voicemail.
Martino, who had been depressed prior to his disappearance due to health problems and had mentioned having thoughts of suicide, is described as a bald, 5-foot-4-inch, roughly 150-pound Latino with brown eyes, according to Chula Vista police.
Anyone who might be able to help locate Martino was asked to call police at (619) 691-5151.
