A toddler was hospitalized Thursday after falling out of an open second-story window at a Palm City apartment complex.
The incident was reported shortly before 4:15 p.m. at the Pacific Point Apartments on Hollister Street.
San Diego police said the two-year-old girl was breathing and conscious when she was taken to Rady Children's Hospital.
The child's condition is unknown.
The incident is under investigation.
