VALLEY CENTER, Calif. (KGTV) - Caltrans will shut down Valley Center Road at SR-76 Monday and Tuesday nights to build a new roundabout.
The closure will be in effect from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Construction crews will direct alternate directions of traffic through the single open lane on Monday night.
On Tuesday night, crews will close SR-76 from Rincon Springs Road to Rincon Ranch Road, along with Valley Center Road at the SR-76 intersection.
Work and closures could extend to Wednesday during the same hours.
The construction is part of the $15.5 million SR-76 Valley Center Road Roundabout Project to replace the existing three-way intersection. Work should be finished by summer.
