SAN MARCOS, Calif. -- Two armed men in Halloween masks robbed a 7-Eleven overnight Tuesday in San Marcos.
The robbery occurred at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday at a store at 405 N. Twin Oaks Valley Rd. The clerk told 10News the two men, one wearing a clown mask and the other with a Guy Fawkes mask, entered the store with a gun stuffed in an orange sock.
They demanded cash, cigars and lottery tickets, which they stuffed in a duffel bag before fleeing. The clerk was not hurt.
San Diego County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating.
