SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A man who was shot, stabbed and beaten in Southcrest this morning is in the hospital, as police search for the group of people responsible.

San Diego Police say the man was walking through the Southcrest Recreation Center in the 4100 block of Alpha Street about 5:45 a.m. when the group attacked.

The victim suffered gunshot wounds to his arm and back, as well as several stab wounds.  He is being treated at Scripps Mercy Hospital.

Investigators want to find a thin Hispanic man who was wearing a blue jacket and seen getting into a white Toyota Camry immediately after the crime.
