Looking for something fun to do this weekend in San Diego? With Valentine's Day on the horizon, there's plenty of seasonal fun to join in with. Here's a look at some of the cool things happening this weekend:

Friday, Feb. 10

San Diego Film Week

San Diego Film Week kicks off on Friday and runs until Feb. 19. Seven film festivals featuring more than 100 films from local filmmakers and film festivals. Harlem Globetrotters at Valley View Casino Center

The legendary Harlem Globetrotters will showcase their amazing basketball skills, bringing their famous abilities to San Diego. Check out their iconic talents and their introduction of the first 4-point line this weekend. For more information on tickets, click here.

Arsenio Hall at the American Comedy Co. (and Saturday)

Comedic icon, Arsenio Hall, comes to San Diego for two nights, Friday and Saturday. The man behind "The Arsenio Hall Show" will perform standup comedy in a special event at American Comedy Co. For more information on tickets, click here.

 

Saturday, Feb. 11

Celebrate San Diego at Petco Park

San Diego team, city, and community leaders will host a rally for the city celebrating all things sports in America's Finest City. The free event will feature lots of food, games, and fun for everyone. Special appearances by local athletes are also expected. For more information, click here.

1st Annual Carnival of Caffeination at Liberty Station

The 1st Annual Carnival of Caffeination will feature delicious local beer and coffee - at times combined - along with some of the best eats around town. All profits will benefit BikeSD, a non-profit aimed at improving bike-friendliness of San Diego. For more information, click here.

35th Annual San Diego Chinese New Year Fair in Downtown

Celebrate the Year of the Rooster at the annual Chinese New Year Fair. Traditional Chinese performances, crafts, cultural displays, and a parade are all planned. And of course, some delicious food will be there. For more information, click here.

Cupid's Undie Run - San Diego at Liberty Station

Cupid's Undie Run is exactly what it sounds like. A short run around Liberty Station in your underpants. But surrounding the run - and parties before and after the run - is a worthy cause. The run will benefit the Children's Tumor Foundation, an organization that works to fight neurofibromatosis and support children with NF. For more information, click here.
 
2nd Annual Shopping in the Heart of IB

This Valentine's event, hosted by the San Diego Small Business Forum, brings gifts and ease to your Valentine's Day gift searching in Imperial Beach. Enjoy music, food and shopping from local businesses, benefiting IB Charter School. For more information, click here.

 

Sunday, Feb. 12

7th Annual Coronado Valentine's Day 10K, 5K, 1 mile fun run/walk at Tidelands Park

Jump in to run or walk or get down to Tidelands Park to enjoy the race day atmosphere for this annual run. If you're racing, the event will also hold a costume contest so be sure to get in your best Valentine's Day spirit.
