SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - There will be plenty of holiday drinks, food, and fun to be found throughout San Diego this December.

Local businesses are celebrating the holiday season with their own twist, giving locals the chance to enjoy some seasonal treats.

Here's a look at some of the parties and specials to be found this month in San Diego:

As in any situation where alcohol is involved, it's highly recommended to have a designated driver and to drink responsibly.

Polite Provisions (4693 30th St.) - Nov. 24 - Dec. 24

Polite Provisions in Normal Heights is welcoming to hit pop-up bar "Miracle" to town. The celebration is known for its "holiday decorations on steroids" and will include cleverly named crafted cocktails such as "Bad Santa," "How the Gimlet Stole Christmas," and "You'll Shoot your Rye Out."

Eureka! SDSU (5140 College Ave.) and Eureka! UTC (4353 La Jolla Village Dr.) - Dec. 5 - 6 and Jan. 1

Eureka! locations in San Diego will celebrate the holidays (and Repeal Day) by offering special Old Fashioneds in December. They'll also kick off the New Year with a Monday brunch, bloody marys, and mimosas.

Night Owls: (Gin)gerbread (1008 Wall St.) - Dec. 7 from  7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Athenaeum Music and Arts Library is hosting a gin-gerbread celebration this month, featuring gingerbread crafts and the artwork of Mark Licari. Tickets can be purchased here.

Toast of Gaslamp (560 5th Ave.) - Dec. 9 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Toast of Gaslamp is a self-guided walking tour around the Gaslamp District, offering  20 sips, 20 bites, and shopping deals for holiday lovers. Wear an ugly holiday sweater or reindeer ears and be entered into the Toast's raffle. Tickets can be purchased here.

Santa Pub Crawl (401 G St.) - Dec. 9 at 8 p.m. to 11:15 p.m.

Mr. and Mrs. Clauses will be out in the Gaslamp ahead of Christmas for a pub crawl starting at Tine Roof. Enjoy half off drinks, VIP entry, and no cover charge. Purchase tickets here.

Holiday Hop - Rockabilly Dance Party (3925 Ohio St.) - Dec. 9 from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Join Queen Bee's Art and Cultural Center for a night of dancing, performances, and a full bar to ring in the holidays. Make sure to wear your best ugly sweater for a contest. Get your tickets here.

Hillcrest Taste 'n' Tinis (535 Robinson Ave.) - Dec. 14 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The Hillcrest Business Association hosts the annual Taste 'n' Tinis event, offering shopping, eats, and seasonally-inspired martinis in a holiday atmosphere. Tickets can be purchased online here.

Ales 'n' Rails: Ugly Christmas Sweater Party and Beer Tasting (1649 El Prado) - Dec. 15 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The San Diego Model Railroad Museum will host an ugly Christmas sweater party to help raise funds for exhibits, public programs, and operations of the museum. Craft libations will be available from Mike Hess Brewing, Pizza Port Brewing Company, Benchmark Brewing, and Rock Bottom Brewery La Jolla. Tickets are available here.

Craft and Draft (3416 Adams Ave.) - Dec. 17 from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Blind Lady Ale House is hosting an afternoon of holiday beers and food, and handmade crafts from local artists. Raffle proceeds will benefit a local charity. More information.

Wine and Canvas party - Holiday Paradise (4060 Morena Blvd.) - Dec. 20 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Duck Foot Holiday Food Drive (8920 Kenamar Dr.) - Until Dec. 27

Duck Foot Brewing Company is hosting a holiday food drive. Bring in any non-perishable food donation and receive $1 off your next full pour. More information.

Havana 1920 (548 5th Ave.) - Throughout December

Havana 1920 will be offering two new holiday cocktails - Buena Noche and Havana 1920 Ponche - and a holiday dessert topped with guava and icing.

El Chingon (560 5th Ave.) - Throughout December

El Chigon is celebrating the holidays with a new spicy appetizer - Christmas elotee - and a seasonal drink called La Posadas.
