SAN DIEGO (KGTV)--Long summer nights during a kid's school vacation can sometimes beg for a change of pace.

The Nighttime Zoo runs now through September 4 and features new kid-friendly activities like:

  • Villagers of Africa Rocks - This African entertainment group treats audiences to traditional music and dance.

  • New Friends Rock! - Watch a new trampoline show full of super-bouncy acrobats and laughter

Traditional favorites, like Zoolahoops, also return, along with music and dance the hip-hop group the Funky Monkeys.

Parents, the zoo hasn't forgotten about you! Grab some grub and cocktails from the "Happy Happens" $6 and $7 menu at Albert's Restaurant in Lost Forest, or you can always relax with an icy adult-beverage from Zoo Brews.
