SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- The new year brings plenty of chances to get out and explore America's Finest City.

From admiring all the San Diego International Auto Show has to offer to hikes at Three Sisters Falls and a food tasting walking tour in La Jolla, there's a little something for everyone.

THURSDAY

San Diego International Auto Show
Where: San Diego Convention Center; Cost: Adults $15; Military $12; Children 7-12 $11
The San Diego International Auto Show features a wide variety of vehicles under one roof, including more than 400 vehicles from over 30 global manufacturers.

Winter Break Camp for Kids
Where: Helen Woodward Animal Center; Cost: $58-$77
This camp allows kids the experience to learn what winter means for animals. From discovering why chinchillas don’t mind being chilly to how reptiles deal with falling temperatures.

FRIDAY

Queen Nation
Where: Belly Up; Cost: $22-$24
Go check out “A Night of Rock Royalty” and enjoy the tribute to Queen. The event features a 90-minute production of Queen’s greatest hits.

ScholarShare 529 Toddler Time
Where: The New Children’s Museum; Cost: $0-$14, Free with admission
This program supports health bodies and minds with music, movement, and social play for young children.

SATURDAY

Guided Hike
Where: Boulder Creek Preserve; Cost: Free
If one of your goals is to enjoy the great outdoors more in 2020, this is a great start. The San Diego River Park Foundation takes you on a guided hike along the Eagle Peak Trail via Three Sisters Falls Trail.

Paint Your Pet
Where: Lovejoy Creations Studio; Cost: $65
This workshop gives participants the opportunity to paint a picture of their beloved pets. You will need to email a photo of your pet to the studio two days in advance to give workers the chance to pre-draw your pet on canvas.

SUNDAY

SeaWorld San Diego Christmas Celebrations
Where: SeaWorld San Diego; Cost: Varies
Miss all the holiday happenings at SeaWorld? January 5 is your last chance to take in all the sights, sounds and smells of the holidays at the theme park.

Bite San Diego: La Jolla
Where: Downtown La Jolla; Cost: $47
This 18 and up event gives participants a taste of La Jolla through a food tasting walking tour. Enjoy bites from some of the best restaurants the area has to offer.
