DEL MAR, Calif. (KGTV) — A now sold out KAABOO means this will be its most packed year yet.
Organizers say there are several ways to get to and from the venue, but it's best to plan ahead.
Last year some concert-goers complained of ridesharing surge pricing as well as buses being 45 minutes late for pick up.
10News asked KAABOO if anything is being done to protect customers from surge pricing:
"This year, KAABOO has expanded its partnership with Uber, working to place a firm and reasonable limit on surge pricing, and to keep cars in one specific area both to speed up pick-up and drop-off to protect the neighborhoods surrounding the fairgrounds from unnecessary traffic. The goal is to make it easy and affordable for every single one of our guests to get in and out."
KAABOO officials also say there have been changes to the bus system to make sure they run on time.
