SAN DIEGO -- A juvenile bicyclist was injured after being struck by a car while riding a bike in Bay Terraces Monday morning, according to police.
The crash happened on the 6900 block of Alsacia Street near South Woodman Street just before 7:20 a.m.
The details surrounding what led up to the crash is unknown, but the young victim did receive a serious leg injury, police say.
Emergency personnel say the young victim likely has a broken femur. The victim’s age wasn’t given by police, but they were taken to Rady Children’s Hospital for treatment.
